Beach Hair… Don’t Care

I love the beach. Swimming in warm water, laying out in the sun, saltwater beach waves…really can’t beat it. And I think I have a bikini problem, I wish I could buy them all…but then I would be broke. ūüė¶ When I need to clear my head, going down to the beach and just walking around is literally the most peaceful thing. Jeremy and I love to go and take pictures, read, and just hangout. We love when its stormy to go walk, or right before a storm how the water gets. Anyways, we all love the beach. Below are some of my beach essentials…

Beach Blanket

I have this beach blanket by Amuse Society. They also have this one that I love!

Jean Shorts

I am literally the pickiest when it comes to jean shorts. I don’t like anything too short because I often find they aren’t flattering..and I want to keep it covered. I also typically get one size bigger than I typically wear, believe me it makes a huge difference on how they look!

These are Joe’s jean shorts, I have multiple styles and denim colors. Here is one with similar fit to the ones I am wearing here…you can cuff them once more to get it more similar.

I previously wrote a post on sunglasses of the summer, including the Linda Farrow Rose Gold sunglasses I am wearing here.

Bikini Season

Summer is also known as “Bikini Season.” This is almost the same style top I have on above, it’s Frankie’s. Here are some other swimsuits I’m loving: this one piece, this bikini from Frankie’s, this black Coulbourne set, this bralette set by Vitamin A, and this strapless top with these bottoms from Boys + Arrows.

Now everyone make sure they make it out to the beach before summer comes to an end!

Disney World Outfit Day 2

Key to great Disney adventures is a cool, cute outfit with comfy shoes….as discussed in my day 1 outfit post! Our second day at Disney World I wore one of my favorite rompers (which I have in multiple colors and multiple styles). It is by Planet Blue! Ever since I moved back to Florida, I shop at the Boca Raton location. The girls there are amazing and extremely helpful! I had to continue wearing my pink minnie ears because they are a necessity while at Disney. And for shoes…I wore my Vince slip ons again (they really are that comfy).

Again, I discussed in my last post how much Jeremy loves Vuori, Lululemon, Nike, and Travis Mathew. The hat is the same Travis Mathew hat from the last post, but I actually found a link to it on a golf site. His shorts here are another pair of Vuori…these ones are super stretchy! His shirt is a Metal Vent Tech Short Sleeve shirt from Lululemon. Lulu’s Metal Vents are awesome because they are sweat wicking, very stretchy, and have anti-stink technology. Not only is it perfect for working out, but perfect for a hot day at Disney!!

Something I didn’t discuss in my last post was J’s love for Oakley sunglasses, specifically their Prizm technology. Their Prizm lens makes the sun easy on your eyes and clarifies everything! He wears Oakley for baseball and on the reg. Absolutely loves them!

Later in the afternoon we went back to our hotel for some pool time, and came back to the park that night!

Disney World Essentials

Hi! This is the second post of my Disney World series. It includes some essential tips for your trip to Disney! ALL DISNEY WORLD VACATIONERS should download the My Disney Experience app and get a magic band.

My Disney Experience (the mobile app)

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

My Disney Experience

This app is literally VITAL to your trip. You will login (or create) to your Disney account, which is a huge help for dinner reservations, hotel reservations, magic band, fast pass, and more! You can view wait times for rides and characters, view all attractions that are open at each park, see where characters are, find nearby dining & restrooms, look up entertainment & events, find tours, see where photopass photographers are located, and view guest services, hotels, spa, shops, and recreation. All of this is available on the app! CRAZYYY!! You can view all this on a list or the map of Disney World

When you touch the blue Mickey button at the bottom of your app you can view park information and entry including showtimes, park hours, and tickets. You have access to your plans (which you can plan in advance on the app!!!)! The app lets you access FastPass+. These selections can be made up to 30 days in advance, 60 days in advance with a Disney Reservation! Basically you get to pick 3 for the day and it links to you magic band or ticket. These 3 do have to be in the same park, but once you use all 3 you can get a FastPass+ for another park. You can also make a dining reservation, book a hotel, or link your existing dining/hotel reservation.

If you decide to get a memory maker (which I highly recommend) you can purchase it, find photographers, link photos, and view all photos through the My Photos section of the app.

For all of the above reasons, this app is literally crucial to a successful Disney World visit!

Magic Band

Disney Magic Band

Magic Bands are $12.95 at Disney World, and free (gray color) with Disney reservations. You literally don’t have to worry about taking anything with you if you have a Magic Band. You scan your magic band to enter parks, enter the FastPass lane, and even pay for food, drink, merchandise, etc. Your tickets and credit card link to your Magic Band.

Not only does this band make your trip more convenient, it speeds things up. You don’t have to carry your wallet to pay for food, you just scan your Magic Band. You don’t have to fidget in your pocket to get your tickets to enter the park or fast pass, you just scan you Magic Band. It truly is an ingenious creation by Disney World and I’m in LOVE with it. It also serves as your door key if you are staying at a Disney Resort.

Hope these two tips help make your Disney trip extra magical!

Disney World Outfit Day 1

I’m literally a two-year old girl at heart…just ask my fianc√©. About a month after we got engaged we went to Disney World on probably the only free weekend we will have until fall because he plays baseball. It is almost always HOT in Orlando, so don’t think just because you are going to Disney later in the summer that this blog post won’t do you any help. It will!

If you are like me you probably like to “attempt” to plan out your outfits when you take a trip..especially Disney! You want to look cute, stay cool, and still be comfortable. Over this series of posts I will go over not only tips on what to wear, but planning your trip, where you should stay, and MUST DOs.

So I went for completely different outfits while I was there. I’ll start with my day one.

my: shoes   shirt   shorts

I love¬†Vince¬†slip-on shoes, I own high-tops and low-tops and they are always my go to. I’ve never been a big slip on person because I blister easily.¬†Vince¬†slip-ons have NEVER given me a problem and they are SO COMFY. I loved wearing them all day, every day. I got my shirt from this boutique in Florida called¬†Etiquette. If you are in Florida I highly recommend, they carry a variety of clothes: For Love and Lemons, Blank NYC, their own brand Etiquette, and more. Unfortunately, they do not have a website so I linked a similar shirt from Nordstrom. These Blank NYC¬†shorts are my FAVORITE and I’m not a big jean short girl because they always fit me weird. I did go up a size in the shorts just because I think jean shorts are more flattering when they are a little looser. There is also a jean jacket that matches the shorts and is so cute.

my fiancé: shoes   shirt   shorts   hat

My fianc√©, Jeremy, went for the DILF workout look all weekend. We are a big fan of Nike, especially¬†Nike Flyknit Air Max. Jeremy owns multiple pairs and is looking to get the¬†Nike Air VaporMax¬†soon. They are so comfy, they look good with just about everything, and they are great workout and running shoes. We discovered the workout brand¬†Vuori¬†last fall and fell in LOVE. Jeremy started with one pair of shorts, and now owns about 30 items from them because their clothes are such great quality for lounge and workout.¬†Lululemon¬†is a wardrobe staple for both Jeremy and I, I actually used to work for them and the quality of their workout clothes is incredible and its comfortable. He is wearing their¬†5 Year Basic Tee, which can be worn with jeans for a night out, to workout, or as a lounge shirt. Lastly, J is a big snapback guy. He is wearing a¬†Travis Mathew¬†hat (also a huge fan of their polos). Typically he likes a snapback over a fitted hat, but that is just his preference….and ladies, you don’t have to worry about sizing if you get your man a snapback. It adds a little fun to any outfit, again whether you are going out, working out, or lounging around.

More details from my Disney trip to come!
