Magnolia Market

For those of you that don’t know me, I’m obsessed with the Gaines’ family. They’re basically #goals. So naturally when I went to visit my brother in Texas, I had to take a trip to Magnolia Market at the Silos. It was raining the day we went, but it was still super cool. There are so many reasons I love Fixer Upper, the Gaines’ family, and their brand. I think their story is super awesome, I am actually about to start reading their books (The Magnolia Story and Capital Gaines). I love how they are centered in Christ, their style, and how they push each other to follow their dreams and what they are passionate about (you can watch their I Am Second video here). My pastor was actually just teaching on this the other week, that as a couple we have to support each other in what we are passionate about. What one of us is passionate about should begin to become the other’s passion too.

Anyways, back to Magnolia Farms! They have food trucks there daily, they have a big turf field with bean bag chairs, lots of balls, and lots of space. This makes it super fun for families. You can play with your kids and have a great time. They have their Seed + Supply store with all things plants and a little garden outside! Also a great area for a photo op!

The food trucks are unreal. There was a long line at the Common Grounds coffee truck, which makes me sad because I didn’t get it and I love coffee and it looked so good! So definitely go to Common Grounds when you’re there if you like coffee. Their original storefront is located in Waco and they regularly add seasonal drinks to the menu! I went to the Cheddar Box: Gourmet Grilled Cheese food truck when I was there and got the Big Jim mac & cheese. It was unbelievable.

When you first walk in, you will see the Silos in front of you and to your right is their cupcake shop, Silos Baking Co., and to the left is the Magnolia Market. The market has so many great goodies, and they also sell ABLE jewelry (which I previously mentioned in this blog post). “ABLE is a lifestyle brand focused on ending generational poverty by working with women who have often overcome extraordinary circumstances. We manufacture directly in the communities we wish to impact, both locally and globally, creating jobs and ending the cycle of charity dependency.” From the Magnolia brand itself, here are some things I love (I really love everything, so I’m just putting a few of my favorites).

Their candles, they have a wood wick (which crackles like a fireplace) and are a soy-blend (which is healthier for you to breath). This “bless your home” doormat made from coconut fibers. This Magnolia sweatshirt…currently wearing it as I am typing this…one of the comfiest shirts I own and super cute! This mug, we love drinking our morning cup of joe out of this mug made locally in Waco! These wooden candlesticks. This wooden tower, great for those of you that entertain, it comes in a smaller white version. I love the beaded details in it, there is also a matching cake stand that comes in different sizes.

This tea towel, love it for drying dishes. This brie baker, can be used for baking other things as well. My favorite brie recipe: 1 wheel or triangle of brie, 1/3 cup good honey, cover with sliced almonds & craisins – cook at 350°F for about 15-20min or until cheese begins to puff on edges. This salt & pepper cellar, so cute for your dining table. These script wall expressions made by Jimmy Don. I have three hanging in my living room above my couch! I love their wall signs, especially this broke bread sign and this Micah 6:8 sign. Like I said those are just a few of my favorite things…there are so many more Magnolia products I love!

At the time of visiting the Magnolia Market we had two brand new puppies at home. The line was pretty long at the Silos Baking Co. so we weren’t able to stay and get a cupcake, but I highly recommend you do when you go! The staff at the market was super helpful and kind, which always makes an experience even greater. We had so much fun visiting the Silos and hope y’all get the chance to as well!

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20 NKJV
